UNIVERSITY OF EXETER
SPRINT TRAINING
I am the University of Exeter Athletics Club sprint and hurdles coach. I have the highest sprint and hurdles qualification offered through UK Athletics, and I am fully insured through the same organisation.

Athletes of all standards are welcome to join our fun, inclusive and hard-working squad.
CULTURE
Great team culture elevates the performances of all athletes.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to train, ranging from experienced athletes competing at a high level to newbies looking to try something new.

Individuals have diverse training requirements, and this is managed whilst still developing a positive, group environment.
WHEN & WHERE
Exeter Arena is a very well-used and well-equipped track only 2 miles from the main University campus. The majority of our training takes place here.

I'm a huge fan of varying training locations, so we also spend time training on grass pitches, local beaches and the hills on campus. For the current schedule, please communicate directly with the University of Exeter Athletics Club.
METHODS
I deliver high-standard coaching, utilising varied training methods, in structured and focused programs.
Expect to be working on your acceleration, max velocity and speed endurance via track work, technical drills, plyometrics, resisted running methods, ballistic medicine ball work and strength and power training.
